You're telling me that your center doesn't work every driver every Saturday in December? That's been the case for years in most areas. It's a forced 6 day schedule for at least the 3 weeks before Christmas.

We have been told we won't be doing it this year after several years of everyone working Saturday

I already asked my BA and I can be forced.

That’s what ours said. For the past 4 months they’ve been forcing more than 100. Only about 20 show up.

In my local we can't be forced a 6th day. I don't work 6 days even during the Christmas season. We can only be forced the 6th day on Christmas Eve if it falls on a Saturday.

If the alternative is spending the whole day with my wife's extended family, count me in.

I get a Get out of jail free card for christmas. I dont have to travel anywhere if i dont want. And if i do, they all leave me alone while i sleep in a recliner.
