If you're into liberal policies the guy makes a lot of compelling arguments.
But let's be honest here.
Democrats need to pick a moderate, white, straight, Christian guy if they want to win.
A white candidate isn't necessary. Obama's 2 terms are proof. I'd just like a progressive candidate who can articulate why they want to do what they want to do and how they might do it. Yang wouldn't be my Democratic candidate of choice. But he does check those boxes. I respect him for it.
I wouldn't like some shrill candidate whose schtick is to (metaphorically) bang on the bottom of a pot while screaming that racism, oppression and scary speech of all kinds are rampant because Trump is in office. I think he's a real pig

er con man who is just the worst. But a loathing of Trump is not enough for Democrats' reflexive sprint to the left to overcome voters' fears of the impact of redonkulous hard left policy making on their everyday lives.
