Still comes down to the same reality. Burden of proof. The burden of proof of a rigged fraud plagued presidential election was on the shoulders of the plaintiff . They failed miserably. Lindsay Graham called out his fellow GOP members on the floor of the Senate to provide him with 10 just 10 cases of voter fraud to be included in the minutes of the certification session They offered nothing.

Lindsay Graham a high ranking GOP senator created the opportunity for PROOF of voter fraud that could be laid out on the floor of the Senate for all Americans to see. The best and final opportunity was offered but Cruz Hawley and the others just sat there in silence .

There was their chance. Their last, best and final opportunity..... The gavel dropped. The session ended. The matter is now closed.
I guess the Democrats were just too smart. trump deserved to lose.

You seem very butthurt that a majority of Americans have said they don't believe we have free and fair elections.
.
The American people somehow deserved an investigation into the election when Trump won, but now you say that's insurrection.

Hypocrite.

Of course we believe in fair elections, we just had one. Trouble with elections is that they have 50% chance of not producing the results you might want but that's why they have them.

And after Lindsay Graham's "it ends here" moment in the Senate earlier this week the matter is now closed. The only question now is are the people who tried to overthrow the government simply because they didn't get the results they wanted prepared to lose their freedom for many years ?

Mitt Romney was 100% correct here.

Mitt Romney accuses Trump of inciting an insurrection

"Have an audit, they say, to satisfy the many people who believe that the election was stolen. Please! No Congressional led audit will ever convince those voters, particularly when the President will continue to claim that the election was stolen.

The best way we can show respect for the voters who are upset is by telling them the truth. That is the burden, and the duty, of leadership. The truth is that President-elect Biden won this election. President Trump lost. Scores of courts, the President’s own Attorney General, and state election officials both Republican and Democrat have reached this unequivocal decision."
Nah if the supreme court ruled that there wasn't enough fraud and trump kept talking about it I would have accepted it and he would have lost my support

The problem is we saw crazy amounts of fraud spread across 5 key states that they knew they needed to win and nobody wants to take even a glimpse at it especially after 4 years of digging in trump's closet.

Almost all of trump supporters think the election was stolen and we can't even get an investigation. That's not a good recipe for unity like biden preaches

"Your lies cost lives". That is the caption the Houston Chronicle used in calling for the resignation of Ted Cruz along with the belief that Cruz thought that he could ride the Trump wave into White House. Now he might not even be able to hold onto his Senate seat.
Unfortunately both parties are now confronted with the same monumental task of deradicalizing the fringe elements within their respective parties and the party that is the most successful and does so first will be the majority party going forward.
It’s the truth. These mfers are directly responsible for these riots. I have been saying for years the Republican Party is extremely radical and you have the potus and us senators lying about election fraud, which incites a riot on the capital in which some of the rioters wanted to capture our political leadership put them on trial and kill them all so they could over turn an election they lost. Look, it doesn’t get more radical than that.

Mitt Romney my ass.

I'll take his advice when he writes a book on how to lose, it's the only thing he has done on his own.

I love his contempt for "those voters."

The thing that dumb son of a bitch doesn't understand is more than half of "those voters" voted for him and would not piss on him now if he were on fire.

The :poop: for brains doesn't understand the ones that give him space today are the ones that crucified him in 2012.

Piss on him and the McCain he rode in on, birds of a feather.

Fraud is not the hurdle.
The proof is written, on plain paper by the acts of states Governors, Secretaries of states, and State Supreme Courts, rewriting election law on the fly.

Spend some time doing a little research and less talking, you'll look like less of an idiot.

If fraud is not the hurdle then what is the hurdle? In Pa the law that rewrote Pa election law that allowed for mail in votes was introduced by Republicans and passed by Republicans. The only thing the Pa governor did was sign the bill because he knew that he couldn't sustain a veto. Let's see you try to overcome this "hurdle". And BTW. when the GOP didn't get the election results they expected (Trump lost) from the legislation they ran off to the Pa. Supreme Court and tried to get their OWN legislation thrown out on Pa. constitutional grounds. Their motion was rejected unanimously .
