Lame duck congress......more like a 3-ring circus. Watching them pick the most important, high priority items to work on is a joke.
OK, they passed some meat or food bill in the house......important, but was it crucial to get done before the end of the session?
How about the problem of the country not functioning after Friday....isn't that important enough??? That should be your singular focus right now. How about the Bush tax cuts?? Businesses would like to plan but can't because of your ho-humness.

The Rebublicans are trying to keep things focused.....doing what needs to be done immediately instead of running around like chickens with their heads off.
Reid has 4 separate dates for 4 separate bills.....all basically Dream Acts (4 variations of it)......this isn't the time for an amnesty bill just because he promised every Hispanic if they voted for him he would pass one for them.

They did win after all.
And they are doing what the electorate wants.
The Democrats just don't get it, we sent them a clear message, and they haven't heard.
We'll get rid of a bunch more in 2012.

Exactly right. They even kept the same leadership. Can't say I'm disappointed as it will only help make them even less significant in the future.
