UPS Shines as Analysts Applaud Potential – NASDAQ

Package delivery service United Parcel Service (UPS) has made quite a name for itself over the years. It’s one of a handful of companies that keeps the e-commerce movement alive and well.

During the pandemic it was a godsend, connecting people to goods without having to actually go anywhere. Now, some new love from the analyst sector is giving UPS a fresh lease on life. I’m also bullish on UPS, because this company has already demonstrated just how effective it can be.

Based on the year in UPS stock prices so far, UPS has had a banner year. It spent most of the first quarter of 2021 plateaued down around the $150 mark. As March ended, so too began a new renaissance for UPS. The company started climbing, slowly at first, then with surprising alacrity.

UPS Driver Reveals Huge Amount of Packages He Delivers in 6 Hours, Sparking Debate Online – Newsweek

An alleged UPS driver has started a debate online with his viral TikTok that has already garnered 2.4 million views. In the video, he showed a full truck of packages in the morning, and by the afternoon, it’s a lot of bare shelves. Some viewers have sympathy for the driver, while others don’t seem that impressed.

The video began with TikToker @aiden_m365 facing the camera in his truck as he wears a UPS uniform and walked to his seat. The screen read, “Idk why they get paid so much. All they do is deliver packages. Can’t be that hard.” Accompanied by the song Own Brand Freestyle by FelixThe1st and Dreya Mac, the video’s creator showed a full truck bed of packages all over the place on shelves and on the floor. The screen read that it’s 8:45 a.m. at the time. However, fast forward to 2:45 p.m., and viewers can see that the shelves are bare without packages in a six-hour timespan.

According to Glassdoor, package delivery drivers make an average of $47,833 a year. However, this total can vary from $30,000 to $76,000 a year. But UPS drivers make about $62,733 a year, which is higher than the average for package delivery drivers.

‘She brings light’: UPS driver gets surprise gift from East GR Community- Wood 8

A delivery truck driver received the surprise of a lifetime Thursday morning.

What seemed to be a normal delivery route for Tracy Buksar was actually a surprise appreciation project organized by the East Grand Rapids Community.

Buksar had no idea what was going on as she pulled into the parking lot at Wealthy Elementary School.

News 8 was on scene to meet her, but she thought the crew was there for a “fun project.”

Buksar walked into the school office with her wide smile and upbeat step and was greeted by a team of school staff, community members and supervisors who were all there to celebrate her.

UPS says pandemic will not impact shipping times as Christmas deadlines approach – Fox Business

Adobe Analytics expects U.S. online holiday sales to hit over $200 billion this holiday season, which would set an all-time record. Shipping companies like UPS must adapt to handle the increased demand.

Inside UPS’ Lonestar facility in Arlington, Texas, 11 miles of conveyor belts and 3,000 employees are running on all cylinders to get through one of the company’s busiest seasons.

“With the growth of e-commerce, demand is high,” said Johnnie Jackson, managing director of sales at UPS.

During the holidays, according to UPS, upwards of 800,000 items are processed at the Lonestar facility. That’s double the amount it would see on a normal day. Countless video feeds are routed to a control room where a team can keep eyes on every inch of conveyor belt.
