At least they couldn’t find us back then.
Yep one peak we had a late airplane coming on a Saturday after we were already on the road, a bunch of us were working and there was 25 UPS trucks parked up and down my street watching football because Supervisor told us not to come back to the building until the air landed, and got to the facility. Definitely would get fired now. LOL.

Some of the best years I worked were in the nineties.

I guess as the original pVD driver

I sat at the airport for at least 3 hours to get one package that has drive it always did hub then drive back to the building
So I got paid about $100 plus mileage for one package
L O L I remember them finding the next day, air late and then telling me to grab a truck and take it to the airport! Those were the days they sure the hell don’t do that anymore.
