When you started it was was handwritten on a parchment scroll by a monk using a quill pen. Books would arrive 1000 years later.

Yep one peak we had a late airplane coming on a Saturday after we were already on the road, a bunch of us were working and there was 25 UPS trucks parked up and down my street watching football because Supervisor told us not to come back to the building until the air landed, and got to the facility. Definitely would get fired now. LOL.

I sat at the airport for at least 3 hours to get one package that has drive it always did hub then drive back to the building
So I got paid about $100 plus mileage for one package

Yep now they say it’s next day air. They just don’t tell you which next day it’s getting delivered. L O L.
