22.3 22.2 difference

Is a 22.2 classified as inside work only? If so can a 22.2 job be reclassified to a 22.3 in order to absorb air shuttle hours into the work shift?

I dont belive so .if memory serves correct 22.2 jobs can not be made into 22.3 . They can change to do some 22.3 but are still 22.2 jobs

Maybe the job can be reclassified but not the employee. In the Central States supplement we have a sec. that no Art 22.2 jobs can be eliminated.

Most of our Art 22.2 employees are very high seniority former package car or feeder drivers. If they want to make a shuttle run they will. But can not force them or reclass them.
