It has stalled but not dead and you know it.The organizing of Express has stalled because of the RLA and you know it. What happens at Express doesn't change anything.

Stalled is the word I used, so yes, I know it. But as I said, it doesn't change the RLA.It has stalled but not dead and you know it.
Just the way you like it, huh?But as I said, it doesn't change the RLA.
It's only one terminal so far. If costs go up better bet that FedEx will take it out of the Express couriers' hides before they raise rates.Unionizing Fed ex is very important to any UPSer......they will demand higher wages and better benefits through the Union.....thus Fed x must raise there shipping rates and get close or higher than UPS's creating more volume for UPS and More Full time jobs!!!
Not necessarily. Prove me wrong.Just the way you like it, huh?
They are already finding out the hard way there's a price to pay for that philosophy. It's only one terminal so far. If costs go up better bet that FedEx will take it out of the Express couriers' hides before they raise rates.
Doesn't seem to be changing their minds. They are already finding out the hard way there's a price to pay for that philosophy.
That's not what we see.Doesn't seem to be changing their minds.

Probably not. I have a wife and three kids.Out of curiosity and hypothetically speaking..... If you were an Express courier and the Teamsters approached you, would you fill out a union card?
They are losing people faster than they can replacement them. I think anymore cuts Will do more harm than good. They might not touch the minuscule raises, but there are benefits they could go after. Newhires won't know any better, and if senior couriers quit they get replaced with cheaper employees. It's a win-win for the company. In a competitive environment they have to keep prices as low as possible
I think that tipping point is closer then they think. At least if they still want to claim fedex as a "service" company. They are losing people faster than they can replacement them. I think anymore cuts Will do more harm than good.
Nope, freight would be the first drivers to go union.I believe Fed Ex tractor drivers are already union. Freight is new
