if someone has to work 7 days in a row is that double time? does it make a difference if the employee is pt vs ft?
If you are driving you cannot drive on monday. You have to have 34 hrs off before driving.if someone has to work 7 days in a row is that double time? does it make a difference if the employee is pt vs ft?
OKaaaaayy hang on a few LOLi know...i tried looking through these already but i think i s u c k at finding stuff in there!
Can you explain what you mean? Isn't it 10 hours off?If you are driving you cannot drive on monday. You have to have 34 hrs off before driving.
It's 10 hrs off between shifts, it 34 hrs off at the end of 60 hrs/7 days. Can you explain what you mean? Isn't it 10 hours off?
ANY day that is your 7th is double time. If you max your 60 hours the you need 34 off to reset your clock,if you have hours available then you need 10 off before you can punch in again.
Thank you. I haven't come close to 60 hours in a few years so some of the hour stuff I'm not too sure about.ANY day that is your 7th is double time. If you max your 60 hours the you need 34 off to reset your clock,if you have hours available then you need 10 off before you can punch in again.
Nope, work my 7th all the time. As long as I have 10 off before I punch in on my day 1 scheduled start time I`m good. What I don`t do is max my 60 in 7 days.I work 1 - 5,skip 6,sign up for work on 7,off 10 hours, start 1-5 again. That is correct, but you will still need to have a 34 hour break after the 7th day.

46+2, it shouldn't make any difference ft or pt. Contract language is generally similar for both ft and pt.ANY day that is my 7th day in a row is double time? does it matter that I am pt and not ft?

I've been involved with DOT regulations for a long time. You are required to have a 34 hr period off the clock at the end of your 60 hr/7 day period. UPS enforces this for pkg car. Why? I couldn't tell you but I can guess.
Cach, 46+2 is on a m-friend preload and they changed the start time to 11 tonite because of volume. I am not sure how this will play out, but my guess is that they will consider this a m start. I could very well be wrong.
