Given enough alcohol content, a lot of things taste better after a few hits. As I write this, I am enjoying my half gallon of JD I received as a gift from our glass guy.

That's a nice way to start the new season.

Hope so. I've got some mechanically related things of my own to pull off this weekend. At least with the JD, I can remember what I did. Not so much with the Valium my Doc prescribed me for my chronic muscle spasm.

I agree they are bitter, I have to down a couple before I can start enjoying them. The Hop Hash Double IPA I was drinking tonight had a ABV of 7.8%, it tasted good after a while. Their 420 Extra Pale Ale is what got them started, I like the Sweetwater Blue too. They are a rapidly expanding craft brewery that started near where I live, they are moving into the Texas and Chicago markets now.

They are starting in the Cleveland area. Sampled a couple of their brews that weren't too bad.

New Belgium makes some very agreeable tasting beers. My Christmas goto beer was Frambozen.
