So the correct reason is blacks should trust liberals and their rhetoric despite the fact those policies end up harming them?
Only if Republicans are willing to concede the black vote for every election going forward. If not, they will have to convince black voters that the policies put forth by Democrats are harmful.

Why do Blacks, or Whites for that matter, need to be convinced which party is the least harmful? What ever happened to using your brain that God gave you, to figure it out yourself. Everyone is so quick to throw the blame for their own laziness and inadequacies on someone/something else.

Right. Why blame blacks for voting overwhelmingly Democratic?

Democrats know they can trust blacks to vote for that (D) in every election so they have no incentive to make any meaningful changes.

This LINK established nothing. It contained zero facts.

It was simply another right wing "opinion" piece minus any real substance.

How you people take stuff like this and accept it as "facts" is beyond imagination.

It quoted NAACP president. Too bad you don't like facts.

IT made up a quote changing what was said.

This is what the NAACP president said.. IN CONTEXT..

"""NAACP President and CEO Benjamin Jealous said Sunday that black Americans “are doing a full point worse” than when President Obama first took office.

“The country’s back to pretty much where it was when this president started,” Mr. Jealous told MSNBC host David Gregory on “Meet the Press.” “White people in this country are doing a bit better. Black people are doing a full point worse.”

The black unemployment rate was 12.7 percent when Mr. Obama took office . While the unemployment rate in the U.S. as a whole is below 8 percent, the Labor Department reported the black jobless rate was up from 12.9 percent to 14 percent for December."""

When president Obama took office, George Bush had already increased black unemployment into double digits and left office with blacks at 12.7% and rising with the recession. In the first year of Obama's term, unemployment in the country was rising out of control due to BUSH's policies and failures.

BY 2010, unemployment reached 10.3% and NATURALLY black unemployment would rise as well.

Separating the black american unemployment figures shows that they suffered higher losses of jobs than whites taking them to 16.4% in the first two years of Obama's administration.

This had NOTHING to do with the presidents policies, and more to do with the nations meltdown that was caused by BUSH and the republicans in charge for 8 years.

While black unemployment is slowing crawling back, more is needed to be done in job creation in this country, but your beloved republicans would rather keep people poor and unemployed, rather than pass actual infrastructure jobs bills that would employ millions.

But, you will vote for those people keeping poor people poor.

Its a shame that a vote is wasted in that manner.

Ben Carson shows off his knowledge.

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/ben-carson-gay-marriage-supreme-court

Republican presidential candidate and tea party favorite Ben Carson said in an interview with Newsmax that the President of the United States doesn't have to follow the Supreme Court if the high court were to rule in favor of same-sex marriage.

"First of all, we have to understand how the Constitution works. The president is required to carry out the laws of the land, the laws of the land come from the legislative branch," Carson said on Tuesday. "So if the legislative branch creates a law or changes a law, the executive branch has a responsibly to carry it out. It doesn’t say they have the responsibility to carry out a judicial law. And that's something we need to talk about."

He's no Constitutional scholar. Thank goodness the President will be way too busy invading Texas to worry about what the Supreme Court has to say.

You need to study the Constitution more yourself. The duty of the administrative branch is to enforce the laws written by the legislative branch. The judicial branch merely interprets laws and doesn't write them.

If the Supreme Court rules that same-sex marriage bans are unconstitutional, then those laws would be invalidated and would lose the force of law.

All executives, state or federal, would lose the authority to enforce those laws.

So, yah, the President would have to follow the Supreme Court.

So, you are saying that the decisions reached by the Supreme Court are meaningless? That's what savant Ben Carson is saying.

By Carson's logic, if the Supreme Court someday invalidated the ACA, then a President could ignore that as well.

Nonsensical.

Was he? Nothing I see says that. The Supreme Court might rule against gay marriage also.

Carson has no idea what he's talking about.

Read what Carson actually said and not the rephrasing by that site. He was talking about judicial law vs. legislative law which is how the separation of powers is defined in the Constitution.
