Its not my assumption. The democratic party wont nominate a pure socialist to the party, that would be like the republicans nominating a pure tea party fanatic like ted cruz.

Then, it would easily be BERNIE and the party would still be intact and winning the presidency.
On the other hand, if ANY of the GOP candidates were to drop dead, it wouldnt make any difference, they would all continue to kill each other and the last one standing would only suffer the embarrassment of a wipe out in the general election.

Luckily, those aren't really the choices.
If those were my only choices in a make believe world, I'd take the window. I'd like to see what's going on and make an educated decision, based on my personal outcome, rather than run for the aisle.
