OLIN, N.C. – A concrete canopy collapsed Saturday on a group of band students who had gathered outside a North Carolina high school shortly before a competition, leaving 25 people injured, authorities said.

Dr. Howard Bell of Iredell Emergency Medical Services confirmed the injury total to reporters after the awning collapse outside the entrance to North Iredell High School in Olin, about 55 miles north of Charlotte. At least one student was taken to a Winston-Salem hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries, authorities said, without elaborating.

Now must we ban concrete awnings, too ?

Hell no, we should eliminate all building codes too while we're at it. Needless government intervention.

Hysterical media aside, in 2013 there were 8,454 homicides committed with a firearm. Of those law enforcement estimates 80% of those are gang and/or drug related, and most of which occur in large urban environments like Chicago and Detroit. (See: War on Drugs) That means for every day people like you and me -- who aren't defending our drug corners in today's inner cities -- we have a (1,690 non-gang/drug related homicides / 318,900,000 US population = 0.000530% chance) of being killed with a firearm. That's a 1:188,700 chance; so over any given year you statistically have a greater chance of meeting your demise at the foot of a flight of stairs (1:180,000) or on the seat of a bicycle (1:140,000) than you do the business end of a firearm.

Hope he was pointing into the mirror while blabbering. He never took full responsibility for Iran-Contra, but instead chose to impede any investigation.
Same old political crap. Do as I say and not what I do.

They never mention His (Reagan is their God) love of the Taliban, Iran Contra, Ollie North, or the October Surprise. How about the astrological counsel on important decisions?

Why is that?

Annoy a liberal today. Hit them with facts.

Wasnt the Taliban, at that time, fighting the Russian army that invaded Afghanistan?

At that time in History, the Taliban were just freedom fighters, not Terrorists.

So why should Reagan hate them?

I'll wait for your answer.
