If it's so bad then why do you stay there?

Because my family has been in California since the 1780's. Another reason is that my presence is a big thumb in the eye of my neighbors. The detestment is mutual, and I thoroughly enjoy it. One of my ancestors did well in manufacturing terracotta roof tiles. The tiles he made are all over historic, and government buildings in Monterey, San Luis Obispo, and Santa Barbara counties. Another ancestor did well growing and harvesting walnut trees. As such, myself and my very few family members remaining in this state can still afford to live where we do due to that prosperity.

I have a rural property in another state when I want to do things that I used to be able to do in California before the pox of billionaire liberals, their vineyards, and all their pet Mexicans moved in.

You should move here. You can talk politics and jump in the echo chamber with all my educated, rich, Bay Area refugee, mask wearing, EV driving, wine sipping, tech-weenie neighbors.

Y'all will get along great until they discover yer just a blue-collar stooge. Just like me.

Then they'll hate you as much as they hate me.

You're missing the big picture yet again. Your big blue states are imploding from their socialist ways. People and businesses are voting with their feet. It's one thing to have emergency services, quite another to create a dependent class looking for handouts from a too generous system. It's not sustainable. The U.S. is now incurring a trillion dollars in new debt every 100 days. All your screeching about where do we cut won't mean much when it all collapses. Not a matter of if but when.
You're trying to deflect. Should we have a healthcare system whereby you get service only on the basis of your proven ability to pay? The system we have now whereby a person who has no insurance and no other means to pay the cost has a heart attack and has to be taken by ambulance or other means to the hospital to under go life saving emergency surgery is that is also a socialistic and unsustainable system? Yes or no? Aren't the current uninsured population especially those who CHOOSE to be that way part of the threat to the nation? Then why are hospitals closing with many stating that the reason for doing so was uncompensated care?

Why should one person who did the personally responsible thing and buy insurance or started a health savings account to cover their future expenses while the other guy did nothing but he gets the same care with the costs spread across the entire healthcare patient population and health insurance industry? Is that not socialism?

!780 huh? Then who was there before them? Good chance it was the native population who had been there for centuries prior to 1780 and I bet they resented your ancestors incursion onto their land just as much as you resent the influx of people wealthier than you are into that area now. They made a bunch of money and there's a good chance that they made a decent share of it in California. After all the most basic mantra of the GOP is there for everyone to see...."If you're not rich.....it's your fault".

We aren't talking about me. We're talking about a system collapsing under its own weight. A problem you refuse to address.

What a ridiculous argument.

P.S. The irony of you arguing this when you're in favor of the government giving half a trillion to college grads with good incomes to forgive their college debt.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
If his family was in California in 1780 they likely were of Spanish heritage. You do realize that Mexicans didn't exist before the Spanish got busy with the native ladies?
He’s devoid of any knowledge of history. He worships a dead idiot.

And your point is?
You specifically pointed to Mexicans and Native Americans as being there before his white invader family. Mexican mestizos didn't exist before the Spanish, and as the Spaniards moved into California they most likely brought Mexican mestizos with them. But the mestizos there first? Nope. So when running down whites every chance you get it would serve you well to understand the history behind it.
