AS I said previously, President Obama has asked this congress to change the bill signed by GW BUSH and the republicans in congress refuse to do so for political reasons. BUT WHY?
Well, here's another opinion. If they do nothing, then the immigration problem only gets worse as more and more children from central and south america will continue to come here under the current BUSH law. For the republicans, they believe it causes the democrats problems in the midterms despite its financial effects on each state faced with taking these children.
Your writer in your link talks around the law and then simply distorts the facts to satisfy people like you.
Try reading the bill and the reauthorization bill. See for yourself how these children are allowed to come here, stay and be fed, housed and medically treated before being released to relatives or assisted in placement in the USA.
