I'll be retired for a week and my former customers will say "what happened to that other UPS guy?". No fanfare for me.

It used to be, that when I long-time driver retired, he/she was given a really light day to visit with regular accounts. Not sure that was done for the last couple of retirees.

He was a driver on my center. Great guy, hard worker, model employee. The center provided some cake and coffee and doughnuts in the morning to celebrate his last day, and the DM gave him a plaque and made a speech. 31 years, he deserves it!
