New Health Insurance

Has anyone had the joys of using their new insurance card? Was just thinking about that when I saw the UPS driver today and was thinking how bad they have it at brown. Hint: Sarcasm

PS They informed me that the day after Thanksgiving is a paid holiday. We are getting the shaft big time at Express.

The new insurance card wasn't valid until yesterday. So, unless someone called in sick today, there won't be many responses.

Yeah but think of stock price. Because they take care of their employees by paying them all top rate after 3 years, paying for their insurance and keeping the FT employee model, their stock is a whopping 36 Dollars lower than ours. 36 dollars??? That doesn't make sense. How can they pay their drivers over $30 an hour with overtime, pay for all their medical insurance and are only 36 dollars behind our price?? I thought they would be around 50.00 a share. I wonder where's all the money going???

I think this current summary says it all. If you work at FedEx, you are getting horrible health insurance. Don't let anyone tell you any differently.

In comparison to what unionized employees receive at UPS (not to mention our very own unionized pilots) we are really getting the shaft. Can't think of a better reason for a union contract to prevent what has become an annual fleecing of employee benefits.

The monkey on the left.
At what level of management does the health insurance plan change to a far better one?
Above district level?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I can't believe how bad your guys' plan is. Up here, I'm paying $20/week for mine but at least it's useful...
