Simple.....we would reward them with an appreciable pay raise.
Hah! Your complete ignorance of how Express operates is showing. Fedex believes that courier pay is the only remaining fat to be cut to improve corporate bottom line. Only a dip:censored2: on hallucinogenics would actually propose the possibility. SMH

How do they expect to keep people only paying $100 per day either working 8 or 12 hours?
This is HD and ground.
What is the going rate for ground and HD drivers?

Usually between $12-$14 per hour OR the flat rate "salary" of $650 for a stepvan and $750 for a straight truck. No benefits/no OT.I've heard of more and less, but this seems to be about the normal range.

A few exceptions here and there if the contractor operates in a high commerce population dense area other than that Mr. fedex is right on the money. The job pays the same whether it's done in 8 hours or 12.. No Pension, no healthcare no benefits of any kind. And here's the sad news now that the contractor has to so called "negotiate" for settlements with no bargaining power whatsoever it will be hard for him to do much better pay wise. Dealing with the resulting high turnover and finding replacement manpower that meets X qualifying requirements ........that's the contractors problem.
