Part-time combo workers

UnconTROLLed

perfection
Huh? Of course it's black and white. If you can't handle working two shifts, you can't handle one, you shouldn't be working at all. You're either injured or you're healthy enough to do the job(s) you bid on.
Have you ever heard of the ADA? I know you're part-time and just jaded/cynical about not getting a FT job, but what you are saying is not based on reality.

Strength through joy
As a Yr 1 combo , I originally took the job to actually decrease my work load ( car washer / exceptional air driver / Sat driver ) . I was able to be a p/t yet get full year pension credits . Now that I have passed the min requirements in order to retire , life is still not at all rosy .
I always worked both shifts of my combo and thought anyone who didn't to be a fool .
Since I had to give up my p/t rate to go into an inside/inside job , which cost me $5/hr . Going back to a p/t job would work out well for me and what's left of my body .
