part timers I’d say any skilled position beats a non skilled position for that extra dollar.

We don't even get that dollar anymore FYI.
The official language is something like "in recognition that all part-time positions are skilled the parties have agreed to establish one hourly rate for all part timers"
Of course translated this means "in order to cut labor costs, we have agreed to eliminate the extra dollar for skilled part timers"

Full time Porter. $36 an hour and their biggest worry is someone running out of toilet paper. In our area they work 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. They beat the heat of the day in summer and have time to clean the snow before dark in the winter. There are 16 full time porter positions enshrined in our contract. The company can't go under this number.

I agree but there should be something wrong when the most prestigious Union job is cleaning toilets and dumping trash cans.

absolutely positively a full time top pay address correction clerk.
no uniform or dress code
both fan and space heater and own computer/workstation nobody else touches
padded stool
full size radio plugged in
ipad or tablet for tv and games during "down time"
never deal with weather
non production based job
no boss cause we work for a manager on a different shift technically
amazing vacation pics
need a day off? just text fellow clerks and oms and let them know the other clerks will cover
lunch and breaks whenever you want
the 3pm to 1130pm is the only downside if you have young kids but with older kids and a stay at home wife its awesome. never use an alarm clock, multiple hours during day before work for any kind of activity or chores. imagine having a couple hours to fish before work everyday
on top of that overtime covering days off and vacations and peak and saturdays
