The "REALITY" is that our Political leaders live like Royalty.

They spend our hard earned money like it is Monopoly money.
They continue to pay for votes and their power with our money.
They spend Billions on Travel, Parties, Luxury items --tell us it is a drop in the bucket
They have staffs of hundreds of people that do the work ---while they fund raise and party.
They pass laws on us -that do not apply to them.
They will never accept term limits.
They come in as "average" American's --leave as multi -multi Millionaires.
They give Political Appointments --to Idiots that we will support.
They fight wars on Poverty and Drugs -spend Trillions --losing both wars into infinity !
We kiss their butts -put them on pedestals -while they laugh at American's stupidity.
They promise -Hope and Change ---Nothing Changes !!

But accept that "REALITY" They know -while they divide us and keep us dumbed down --The Gravy train continues.
The Tea Party ---now that is the REAL problem .:ban::censored2: Idiots !!

Its amazing how liberals love to blame everything on Tea Party and assume every conservative is a Tea Party member. I'm not a big supporter of them but I do agree with some of their views. But its easier for low information voters to try to lump all conservatives together in attempts to demonize them.

Tea party voters are the lowest info. voters of all....

tos,

While you are thinking this through --How about a little honesty ?

When Bush left office the Debt stood at 10.6 not 11 Trillion.

The Debt as of this minute TODAY is 17.296.939 and rising.

The last vote on the ceiling and the present growth has the DEBT easily at 18 Trillion by 2015 ----At the end of Obama's term -----two and a half more years --estimates have it at 22 trillion.= -at best -if interests rates stay low.

Yes tos ---22 Trillion -- double ---amazing when you --just think about it !!

Clear thinking ??? Simple math exercise ??

When Obama's leaves office at best --22 Trillion -- Double !!!

Of course in the world you live in --la-la world --you believe the debt will be reduced the next two and a half years !! Think it through !!

Again, you get it WRONG. BUSH left this country in massive debt that was not only HUGE but growing. The BUSH tax cuts that were suppose to expire in 2010 were re activated and that ADDED another 3.2 TRILLION to the debt under president OBAMA's term.

That additional 3.2 TRILLION belongs to BUSH and his croonies in congress who insisted on extending them.

So, thats 11 trillion plus 3.2 TRILLION for a grand total of 14 TRILLION. Then you ADD the two wars that continue to be UNPAID at 2 billion a week and you come to 15 TRILLION dollars.

President OBAMA spent another trillion to save the economy bringing it close to 17 trillion ( so lets call it 17 trillion)

People like you want to leave out the BUSH tax cuts that added 3.2 trillion to the debt SPREAD over 10 years AFTER he left office. People like you want to leave out the extention of those tax cuts for the rich that added another 3.2 trillion to the debt spread over 10 years to 2020.

These things were never paid for and the debt growing on these things (INTEREST ONLY) at 1 billion dollars a day.

Of course, to you , they are just numbers that happen to fall under OBAMAS term, so you simply attach them to President Obama, because you dont consider yourself a LOW INFORMATION VOTER.

Obama is nothing but a Marxist, Socialist, Nazi, Communistical dictator who wants to be Muslim ruler of the universe. I have concrete proof... Glenn Beck said so. Pretty soon, we'll all be praying to Allah and our guns will be melted-down to make Nazi, Stalinist medals. George Bush will go down in history as one of the greatest Presidents ever, right after Herbert Hoover and Richard Nixon. Confederate flags and guns forever!! God bless America!!

TOS,

You cannot make up facts.

End of Bush Term 10.6 trillion

End of Obama's Term - minimum 22 Trillion !!

It will be more than double. FACT PERIOD !!!

You can't count as fact something that hasn't happened yet.

I'll agree, despite projections, but the increase is too much. Bush wasn't perfect, but in 8 years he grew the debt from $5,807,463,412,200.06 to $11,909,829,003,511.75. Obama went from $11,909,829,003,511.75 to at least $17,075,590,107,963.57. Bush allowed spending to increase and the debt to increase 6 trillion under his watch. Obama in less time has allowed the debt to increase 5 trillion. Bush shouldn't have allowed it to increase as much as he had, but Obama who campaigned on such things as ending costly wars and the like shouldn't be cut any slack when the debt is increasing so much. Bush increased 6 over 8, Obama 5 over 6. Obama has a higher rate of increase so far.

I pulled my numbers from http://www.polidiotic.com/?page_id=361

In another couple years Obama may very well raise the debt another few trillion to pull it close to double what he inherited. That's too much, and no matter who gets the office after him if they don't slow it down I'm going to be against them. We can't sustain such a debt.

The 3 main reasons the debt has raised so much under Obama is Iraq, Afghanistan, and the recession. All of which started under Bush. A lot harder to clean up a mess then make one.

I agree, the only time we should run a deficit is in time of war, and only for the amount the war requires in excess of peace time spending.

When a/p outdoes a/r then things needs to be cut, not added. Let's blame all the failures of this president on Bush, that way we can have the perfect president. Hard to take this logic seriously six years into his reign.

I won't touch the recession because of how the administration has said we've been out of it and we're recovering nicely and all.

But I dug up some numbers on the cost of Iraq and Afghanistan and from fiscal year 2009 to 2013 688.5 billion has been spent on it, vs 761 spent from 2001. The costs in Iraq went down, but Afghanistan went up after 2008.

Pretty sure Obama pledged to bring out troops home in his election campaign for 2008. I understand it's not as easy as making a pledge, but he appears to have done it with Iraq, but certainly not with Afghanistan.

Again, I don't care who shows up next, the Federal government needs to spend less else we'll have a bigger problem than Greece.

Edit: I got my numbers from http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0933935.html this time.
