I'm not sure if I like the new houses they are building now.
I'm glad I'll be dead when neighbourhoods look like this.

No front courtyards or porches to sit out on and watch the 'hood'. Shooting range on the roof?

Great porch, Stewie. You can wave at the neighbors as they drive past.

Depends on the locale and the lot size. $400k easy in the burbs, $275 in the boonies.

house would look better with one large shed dormer offset to centerline

3 is too many but they are centered over the 1st floor windows. I think it would look much cleaner with the dormers on the rear of the house. I would also prefer 6 over 6 windows.

The original picture (post#1) looks like the modern houses of the 60's and 70's.

Like the saying, Everything old is new again!!

I worked with a guy when I was in real estate in Utah and he did geodesic dome and log homes. People have property in Big & Little Cottonwood Canyon and log homes are popular there.

Tex I do not live that far from Vineland will have to check it out. Our goal is to move down off of Rt 9 Port Republic-Smithville area bayside on the mainland and a short drive to the beach.
