chris hedges dedicated 1/5 of his days of destruction days of revolt book to this city. it used to be well off because it was a manufacturing city, but capitalism began to seek lower wages over seas along with lower regulations. so the jobs left. chris went there with joe sacco who does comics and theres pictures in the book too. its heavy but its great.

basically chris says camden was the first to go, but the rest of the country is next. its exaggerated but it is slowly coming true.
Chris says, Chris says.....but what does Kanye say ????

Annoy a conservative....Think for yourself
**257,000 jobs added last month
**First time in HISTORY we've had over 200,000 jobs created in 12 straight months
**Largest hourly earnings growth since 2008
**Biggest 3-month job gain in 17 years
**Domestic production of oil and gasoline is way up and prices are way down

Thanks a LOT Obama for ruining our country. This is just more government control by our socialist, Muslim terrorist sympathizer!

Moreloch,Baba,Oldy and Browny are right! Obama's policies have failed us all. We need more tax cuts for the rich, more corporate control, and definitely less healthcare.

What has the president done to improve the jobs situation in the US except keep people employed at the many, many golf courses he visits every week?
Can you name any?

Why should he do anything about it? You don't really want a president micromanaging the economy, do you?

please FDR single handedly got rid of most of the unemployment during the great depression because of federal hiring programs. the pain sufferred during this great recession was avoidable but it happened because the government and private sector are both so rotten

Guess that "Trickle Down" theory does not work....
Or the government takes too much in taxes and things like cap and trade which is use for taking more money from the rich and middle class without calling it a tax.
I mean can anyone remember when the last time a tax went down?
