When you retire, will you grow a beard?
Yes--I have always wanted to grow a goatee.
Do you like beards on men?
Do you like facial hair on men?
No--out of respect for my wife because she hates them. When I take my yearly guy trip for 11 days I quit shaving and thats enough for me. A good looking beard takes alot of up keep so to me it isn't worth the hassle . I did have a mustash for a number of years while working. (was constantly told to trim it ).
How about 2nd day stubble for just the right amount of friction?
Check my avatar ... that will start the last day I work at UPS.
I always grow my beard and moustache and turn it into a goatee for my 9 days of vacation. Rod is right too much upkeep.
Uh huh! <where's a bobble head doll when ya need one>
We had a beard and mustache photo thread a long time ago. Someone want to dig it out?
I would be glad to look for it.
ahhh think I found it.
I just love pulling up old threads.
Keep looking. There's another one with pictures.
Yep, the one with the pics!
Nope. Have gone the beard route when out with surgeries. As rod said, too much upkeep for me. Looked kinda neat, tho. All grey, along with hair.
Been retired since Sep '10 and still just have the 'stash as when working and thinking of getting rid o that.
Granted, retirement is ... an eternity from where I am at now, but I think no; I like the ritual of shaving, something I do every morning. It kind of offers a moment for me to reflect on what the day will be .. while I have white cream on my face; a white creamy reflection.
...... Yep, I said it.
Too many to post.
