To All,

The UPS Policy Book has finally been revised.

This undertaking has been several years in the making.

One of the questions during the revision process was the width of distribution.

Well credit is due to the decision makers. Apparently a wide distribution was decided.

It appears to me that it is now available to all UPSers on upsers.com.

It makes sense that all employees should have access to the policies of the company they work for.

Caution

It may be a disturbing read when you compare the current outlook and culture in your facility and work group with the ideals in the Policy Book.

Sincerely,
I

The only thing that I need to read is the contract. Reading the policy book is a waste of time garbage in garbage out. Half of the stuff in it is a bunch of BS.

upsguy72,

The contract explains your collectively bargained rights.

The policy book explains the policies of the company.

The are not mutually exclusive documents.

They both must be adhered to by all employees.

I

Apparently management hasn't read it either because they don't follow it so why should I. I would quote the section they constantly do not follow but I would have to copy and paste the 90 percent of it.

Management also has a problem with following the contract.

As a steward, I found out "what you don't know (in the policy book) can and will bite you. It's hard to avoid dog poop in the dark if you know what I mean.

Medical mojo?

DS,

Go to the"Our Company" tab.

On the right you will see policies and procedures.

It is in there.

Dear I,

I wish to better understand.

Please explain, in detail, the precise meaning each word and each sentence contained within the original message.

I seek only to better comprehend the complex meaning of multiple letters sequentially combined in the form of words and those words strung together in sequence to form sentences.

I eagerly await your enlightening response.

Sincerely,
friend
