The current contract that passed, reworded the language and included any hourly position to 80 & out.

The change states "any employee that reaches the age of 80 is eligible for full retirement benefits"

So yeah... your part-time years count. Just gotta reach the age of 80.

Yes PT years count but accrual is lower.

Never too early to learn about the pension. I like knowing just how long I have to stick it out. And knowing I could work two days a week and still get peer credit is nice too.

Why are the pensions comprised of different hours for pension credit? I’ve read 500 hours to 1800 hours? Not sure how true that is.
