With NW in his name, my guess is Western Conference, in which case any years with 500 hrs or more worked count towards your rule of 80.
Nancy has AIDS ?Not after that one guy got aids
Why are the pensions comprised of different hours for pension credit? I’ve read 500 hours to 1800 hours? Not sure how true that is.
Is he talking about Peer 80?
500 hours to get the point. another point for BD. I went out at age 58 and 22 years of service ( 500 hours or more )Do the years that I worked part time count towards my 80 and out? Or does it start once you go full time?
Peer 80 should be universal.
Glad you left. Enjoy your time.500 hours to get the point. another point for BD. I went out at age 58 and 22 years of service ( 500 hours or more )
You can most likely collect your pension at age 65 and continue working until you are 80. How cool is that?Do the years that I worked part time count towards my 80 and out? Or does it start once you go full time?
I’ve heard Part time years count 2 for 1, anyone confirm this? How to get them converted as well.Do the years that I worked part time count towards my 80 and out? Or does it start once you go full time?
I guess it depends where you're at. my part-time years count as years of service for 30 and out but the money for those part-time years are paid by the company not by the TeamstersI’ve heard Part time years count 2 for 1, anyone confirm this? How to get them converted as well.

Peer 80 would destroy our critical status multi-employer pension funds.
Thankfully the Western hasn't had to deal with all the orphans like some of the other funds.
You don’t need credits after 80. It’s your contributions multiplied by the accrual rate that determines your benefit amount. It’s up from the typical 1.2% to 1.5% in 2020.Yep, you could double dip and keep earning pension credits. Why stop at 80?
