unpositive - whatever

Let's not concern ourselves with the word 407 used for this thread.

We all understand what he is trying to communicate.

This topic has no words which acceptable because like the subject, it is hard to comphrend.

What would you do if you knew you would die in two weeks?

Cry, hug each grandchild, and pray over them with such a sense of urgency.............. Not in sorrow over death,
but what the future holds for them in this evil crazy time......

Get my affairs in order.. banks direct deposit, insurance......

Then seek God fully, and make SURE, there is no one that I have unforgivenss towards hidden in my heart....

I would go sky diving rocky mountain climing spend two point four seconds on a bull named foo mancho.

Terminal illness.
Yeah it sucks.

What sucks the most is the person dying, while in the process of putting "affairs" in order, they are stuck with the task of convincing others that they accept the fate.
They end up comforting you.

I learned this from a 15 year old niece while Ovarian Cancer spread and killed her in 1998.

I was reminded while watching the "Bucket List"...
I feel bad for the husband the kids and the woman as well as friends and family. I think I also feel bad because it's my greatest fear of happening to me. I've got a lot of term life insurance but my kids being sad makes me feel the worst.

Tim McGraw - Live Like You Were Dying - HQ (Official) - YouTube

I am touched by this song.
It inspires.
It's such a shame it takes something awful to happen to make you appreciate the sweet life you have been given.
But, we are human and I take life for granted, too, sometimes.
I have to listen to this song to remind myself how precious life is.
It was meant to be lived and enjoyed.
Tomorrow is never promised, so live your best life today.
God Bless.

Amen... Let it be so...

amen is one of the few words of scripture which is written in its original Hebrew form. In fact, it is practically a
universal word, having been adopted directly from the Hebrew into Greek, Latin, English, Spanish, and many
other languages. Found both in the Old and the New Testaments, it is also translated in different ways, depending
upon the context of the passage in which it is found. This Hebrew amen is derived from the root [aman], which
means to be firm or solid in the sense of permanency or faithfulness. Thus by implication, it means to be sure or true.
So whenever we see this word Amen used in scripture, it is affirming what is truth, or illustrating something said that
is of absolute certainty.

Let me turn this unpositive thread into a POSITIVE one. This should make everyone smile because it happened to one of our brothers in brown. A guy who does it right and yet struggles like all of us to balance work and home. The driver was born with one kidney. He had no problems until 10-12 years ago and the kidney went bad and he ended up on dialisis. He immediatly applied for a new kidney. There was quite a list in front of him. His chances were very slim to find one in time when out of nowhere a donor appeared. The transplant was a success and he returned to work. Within days he was back to normal and bitching like all of us. It was proof he was back. Then a year and a half ago the kidney started going bad and again he was on dialisis. Once again he went on the list and was told there was a long wait. In the mean time one of our feeder drivers lost a dear friend. He started wondering if his friend and our driver were a match. It was a longshot but he made the phonecalls to get the ball rolling. It turned out they were. The transplant was a success and he returns to work next week. The odds that all this happened within our building is just plain crazy numbers. The main point is never never never never give up. He never did.
