I agree ... he's a pathetic hypocrite.
Wally or Al Gore?

When Gore’s inconvenient truth became public knowledge, he promised to change his ways and gave his property a green makeover. Gore added 33 solar panels at a princely price tag of approximately $60,000. He also upgraded the home’s windows and ductwork, replaced the insulation, put in a driveway rainwater collection system, and installed a geothermal heating system.

The Nobel laureate also heroically went to the trouble of replacing his incandescent light bulbs with compact fluorescent ones.

In total, the renovations are estimated to cost well over $250,000.

Wonder if POtuS drumpf has ever given any of his properties a green makeover.

Damn!
He did all that and still uses 3400% of the average household.
He must have been glowing before that.

The way to green is scale. Al should has sold the place and make a serious down scale. All that un used or un occupied square feet is a pure waste. Same is true of big jets too.

One can appreciate the effort but at the same time, it is still nothing but window dressing.

Is he?

It's not like he's doing the 'prosperity preacher' thing.
Private jet flying is not so good for the global warming, he says....yet he flies around privately.
Also heating or cooling a home 10 times bigger than the average large home is wasteful. So, watch your energy use, but he can use all he wants!

Lots of typical snowflake responses around here.

Anyone who works hard and does well for themselves is expected to not have nice things, and give more to everyone else.
News flash : The average home doesn't have a pool and isn't owned by someone worth about 200 million.

lol

Tell that to all of the ranchers across the high plains.

News flash : If Al sells the place, most likely the new owners will use a similar amount of energy. Also, how do you know it's unused or unoccupied with Al as the owner?
