Quit your other job then. You are already saving $1600 a month on insuranceOnce I became eligible, I shut down my insurance through my day job, as did my wife. Insurance for myself and my two children through my job - 377 every paycheck (paid bi-weekly). My wife - her insurance cost her 400 bi-weekly. 1554 a month back in our pockets thanks to UPS. The tradeoff - my kids only get to see me for a half hour in the mornings during the week as I'm gone before they get home, and they are in bed asleep by the time I get home. It's a catch 22 - I like the benefits and the extra pay (I started UPS for the extra pay and the fact that it's the only job I found with evening part time hours that don't infringe on my day job's hours), but it's killing me not being able to see my kids other than the weekends.
Doesn’t your wife have to take the benefits if offered by her job? Was always curious how that worked here. When I started, my wife provided the family benefits through her job. When benefits started for me, she canceled hers, which was a $240 every other week raise.
I love these drivers that have great dental but have no teeth! Go to the dentist!

IBT! That's who got you those benefits brother. Don't for a minute believe it's these supervisors on here posting as drivers and loaders. (Aunt Tifa's)Never thought I would understand or admit this. It’s all about the benefits. Not just the pay.
I believe that is the rule for non-union employees.Doesn’t your wife have to take the benefits if offered by her job? Was always curious how that worked here.

Obama plan cost me $300 then 400 and then $500 monthly withWhen I was self-employed, ObamaDontCare wanted me to pay $800 a month with an $8000 deductible. LOL Needless to say I laughed, threw the application in the trash, and just paid the fine every year...em
