Enjoying a 12-0 run. Bullpen in 40 plus innings of work has a 0.0 era. And we're playing lots more small ball than going yard which is what you need in October.

Not mocking. Great streak, but it has ended. (gee I sort of feel like Upstate)

WALTHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – The son of Boston Red Sox broadcasting legend Jerry Remy has been charged with murder in connection with the stabbing death of his longtime girlfriend.

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said police received multiple 911 calls from an apartment complex at 1203 Stearns Hill Road in Waltham at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
Ryan said that when officers arrived they found 27-year-old Jennifer Martel outside on a patio area suffering from multiple stab wounds. Jared Remy was arrested in connection with the stabbing. Officials said he sustained an injury that was not "self-inflicted" and was taken by ambulance from the scene to a hospital.

Officials said Martel was Remy's girlfriend of seven years. According to officials, there was evidence of a struggle both inside and outside of the home. In court, prosecutors said witnesses saw Remy stab Martel several times.

A child in the apartment was unhurt and is now in the custody of state child welfare officials. Ryan says the child is Martel's but she was not sure if Remy was the father.
Remy was charged with murder as well as assault and battery in connection with Martel's death in Waltham District Court Friday. He was held without bail.
A Tweet was sent from Jerry Remy's Twitter account at about 11:30 a.m. Friday. It read: "It's difficult to comment after the news this AM. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Martel family."
Earlier this week Remy was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon in a case involving Martel. He was released on personal recognizance Wednesday. There was no active restraining order taken against him.

In 2005, Remy was charged with assault and battery in connection with another domestic violence incident. Remy was accused of punching his girlfriend in the face, throwing a cell phone at her and kicking her in the back, stomach and face.
FOX 25's Jarrod Holbrook reports that Remy had 15 other criminal complaints from 1998 to 2011.
He was fired from the Red Sox security staff in 2008 during a steroid investigation.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Watched the Little League World Series Consolation game between Mexico and Westport Connecticut which Mexico won but Westport made it exciting and has no reason to hold down their heads. Title game between Chula Vista Californian and Japan is about to start and both teams have their aces on the hill. I've been watching these kids the last several days and no doubt I'm watching some future big leaguers.

If you love baseball just for the game itself, these kids have been playing some awesome baseball and just pure fun to watch.
