So did Ford and Reagan. Things got worse for those two Presidents also. The current Fed is drawing parallels with the 80's inflation and stagflation as they raise rates while maintaining near full employment. The capitalism pendulum can and does swing hard in each direction. Worldwide inflation will be with us for multiple years. We can't just suck the excess money out of the economy overnight

My bank hasn't paid crap for a long time that's why I don't leave that much money in there

They pay almost nothing in interest yet still charge ridiculously high rates for their credit cards.
The interest on my money market give me more interest in one month then I would have gotten in a year at the bank
