Has anyone applied for and successfully gotten a federal vision waiver for their dot card?
What’s going on here are you going blind????
Can you read this text?
Had the federal diabetes waiver when it was required. Part of that waiver entailed being seen by an optometrist/opthomologist yearly. If the vision waiver is anything like the diabetes one, expect to lose your DOT card for an extended period of time. I think it took me like 8 or 9 months to be able to drive commercially again.
Ugh, that's what I was afraid of.
Lol, no. Hubby failed his dot exam. He's got monocular vision. Apparently this federal waiver is a nightmare
You've got that right
Maybe call the union hall and see what your next steps are
maybe he can go back in the building
I didn't think you could get a waiver for vision. Pass/fail situation without gray areas.
He started there today. Load and preload. Talk about a schedule change!
At least he is still getting a paycheck, thank God
Apparently you can but it's a ginormous pain in the ass and takes forever
as long as gets 8 hours
Sounds like he'll be getting closer to 11, yikes!
He should’ve memorized the chart.....D E F P O T E C 20/20
Now where are these 11 going to go
Separate names with a comma.
