im not saying the right are all nazis, im saying the centre is not holding because government has been taken over by money and the country is oscillating between far right (including fascism) and far left (by american standards) candidates.

now relative to other developed countries, democrats are a right of centre party and republicans went far right but not fascist.

they had worker control of industry? ive never heard that.

hitler was elected and then it turned into a dictatorship. tyranny is not what socialism is about. most socialists i listen to are very critical of tyranny not limited to capitalist / workplace tyranny.

Not many people are in favor of tyranny, well maybe current republicans are. The problem with communism is it makes it much easier to occur by consolidating all industry with the state.

yes richard wolff specifically is very critical of the idea of giving the state that kind of economic and also political power.

i think chomsky described what happened to russia as a counter revolution. theres quotes from him on it.

regarding the word tyranny many people are against it, but at the same time can maybe only recognize political tyranny not economic.
