Becoming An American Means Assimilating American Values & Culture

We should have assimilated them instead of killing and transporting them but that's ancient history.
Another example of a group of people that did not assimilate to the American way.
Many of them wanted to continue to be hunter/gatherers instead of agrarian.
Their choice ... they lost!

We did assimilate to some extent. The Federal government forcibly took native children from their parents and put them in Indian schools a long way from home where they got white haircuts, white clothes, taught English and other subjects including religious instruction. The most well known school was probably the Carlisle Indian School in Carlisle, PA. It's most famous attendee was Jim Thorpe and their football team beat several major universities. In WWII troops were segregated but Indians bunked with white troops.

no its the invaders who didnt assimilate.

its sad you believe this crap. the US govt thinks it has a right to kill anyone around the world who doesnt do what is wants which is usually to serve power. under the obama admin, the US govt has started killing its own citizens in the 3rd world. soon it will start killing its own citizens in the first world and probably its own country.
You mean like the Russians?

people dont even know their own history. in the great depression communism, socialism, and unions were a driving force in america. they pushed for revolution and settled for the new deal which was created during a depression. these days govt cuts programs instead creating them.

Ya, great history lesson. The only thing that stopped the Great Depression wasn't part of the New Deal Program.
It was a little thing called WWII.

Roosevelt actually prolonged the Great Depression with his programs. And we're in danger of doing the same now.
