Sorry we couldn’t get a communist on the Presidential ballot this year, my goose stepping friend.

yea the democrats rigged it again. should canada invade? or are we gonna get blamed like the russians did for "interferring" LOL

DNC would rather run biden and lose against trump than have bernie or tulsi

Surry, buddeh! American Democratic voters just weren’t interested in nominating a communist who could never win moderate votes in a national election as their Presidential candidate. Now the hard left has a guy who can win moderate votes AND be controlled by Party extremists. So it still works out for them.

Canada wouldn’t make it 50 miles inside the US is they invaded. Even the northerners have enough private arms to deal with your pop guns and maple syrup grenades.

BS the media and DNC rigged it against them both times. plus bernie is in bed with the party and went soft on hillary and biden.

Just saw this edit. You’re operating on some kind of high-test herp derp fuel if you think Bernie would have a better chance at winning a US national election than Biden.

His most ardent supporter demographic is loud but doesn’t actually show up to vote. And that’s a huge part of why he lost so big in the Democratic primaries this year.

he frequently polled higher than hillary or biden against trump.

trumps empty podium got more media coverage in 2016 than bernie did. bernie won super tuesday in 2016 and got hardly any coverage. more civilized countries dont run elections like this, they have laws for equal coverage because the free market cant be trusted to do a good job :S

biden has a terrible track record and has mental problems.

Phone and online polls are conducted with respondents who are sitting at home in their underwear. Elections are decided by those who will actually vote. Bernie doesn't have enough of the latter and he never will. People usually grow up and move past their dumb communist utopianist phase.

give me a break. why do you think socialism is having a resurgence in america? capitalism is a sinking ship, and either it will be reformed seriously enough to be sustainable, or it will take us all down with it.

Dumb take. We're in the middle of a prolonged global pandemic. Socialism is of course required to keep a lot of Americans afloat right now. But the handing out of "free" money that's simply tacked on to the national debt can't last forever. And it's capitalism in the good times that allows for there to be any money in the bad.

Give me an example of a successful non-capitalist country with democratically elected leadership.

all of hte european countries practice a mix of government programs and capitalism. italy has the most worker run businesses which is true socialism. america in a sense does major govt programs but its all for war. regardless, these programs gave us things like the internet, smart phones, medicine, computers, etc.

btw this resurgence started 10 years ago in 2011.

you know what cant last forever capitalism as practiced. it wants infinite growth on a finite planet. capitalism is borrowing from the future to pay for its current costs. amazing how you cant make that connection.

You're into communism. Not some sort of finely tuned mix of government and capitalism. That's just what you want to sell the plebs until you take power and send your detractors to the gulags.

You still haven't given me an example of a successful non-capitalist country with democratically elected leadership.

youre assuming capitalism IS successful. youre looking at the matrix. eventually you'll figure it out.

when has capitalism ever been sustainable? im discounting the fact that its undemocratic, im saying if its sustainable then it at least partly works. probably 100 years ago, maybe more?

Capitalism is why your parents have what they have and have anything to give to you.

How progressives have convinced us America is evil — and must be destroyed

"It is simply undeniable that capitalism, founded on protection of property rights — the ideology of the Founding Fathers — has been uniquely successful in spreading peace and prosperity both domestically and around the globe. Since the dawn of the Enlightenment, the enshrinement of individual rights, and the advent of protection for private property — the roots of capitalism — global GDP has increased exponentially, in shocking fashion. In the year 1 BCE, global GDP amounted to $183 billion; in 1000, global GDP was approximately $210 billion; in 1500, it was still just $431 billion; in 1700, $643 billion; as of 2013, $101 trillion. That is a 15 percent increase in the first millennium, and a 15,700 percent increase from 1700 to present."
