Being swung all over the place

The truth never changes.
There is only one thing driven, dependable, hard working, heroic package drivers get. More work, while the lazy know how to play the game drivers get the cush routes. Congrats, you played yourself. Almost worse than a runner.

I would casually mentioned your seniority and the route choices/availability of everyone else below you.

Easy/hard routes can be somewhat subjective

If you're a cover runner, they should be too

Then again I know a new driver who got a country rural route his first week and has now kept it going on two years now. Meanwhile, other guys are pulling cover routes 3-4 times a week with no sense of regularity

I'd say there is a sense of being lucky. Or maybe they just like certain people more.

Listen carefully. I am going to tell you exactly how you extract yourself from this disaster you have caused. Buckle up. You go in Monday and completely fail at whatever route they place you on. Bring it in at 9:30pm. Toss in one or two late airs as a cherry on the sundae. Message them at noon that you will have missed business because you need to take meal between hour 3 and 5. Come in Tuesday and repeat the previous steps. So on and so on and so on. Be prepared to be in the office everyday. Put your big boy pants on. It’s going to be a couple bumpy months. And don’t tell Stewie one thing. Chances are he golfs with the center manager and goes out for beers. Is he done at 4pm everyday?

I feel like I learned to many routes at my current center and I'm not being treated fairly. In my first year of being a FT UPS cover driver I was sent home ALOT and it really annoyed me to the core. So in response to that problem I learned as much routes that I could and gained alot of area knowledge in the process which in turn became very valuable to me. The problem is that I think management knows this and in return I'm all over the place all the time and it seems like they rely on me to do these multitude of different routes different days of the week all year which I have no problem to be honest. The problem is that I noticed that there are like 6 to 7 dudes under me in seniority and everyday I notice on the schedule that these drivers do the same 2 or maybe 4 routes. This one driver I know been on the same one for like 7 months. What I want to know is did I do something wrong in trying to be too resourceful and dependable, or am I just a sucker for management to use on whatever day they please? I would love to do the same route or two everyday like those others underneath me in seniority . What do you think browncafers?
Some play the game other let the game play them.

Doing the methods verbatim would be enough to honk them off.

Show up early and swing your big, fat seniority around to bump those lower seniority drivers off those routes, if you so choose. Your situation is very similar to mine, but I’ve been at this for several years. I’ve used my area knowledge and ability to pick up new routes to learn a lot of gravy extended routes, while others are stuck on heavy in-town routes.
Don’t show up too early. Make it known you will bump yourself on to whatever route you want when you get there. If someone takes out a route early before start time, file. File on seniority, file of article 17- management allowing drivers to work off the clock.
