Fred's Myth

Nonhyphenated American
You think the government regulating what speech is allowed on private platforms is following the constitution. Have you read the constitution?
So if, say, Vladimir Putin were to purchase, say, Twitter, and started disseminating false propaganda about all levels of government in order to overthrow it, you would defend his constitutional right to do so???

Yes, but I'd hope most Americans, politicians, celebrities, influencers would abandon the platform.

Come on man , What a dumb analogy !!! We're talking about an American company based in America , following America's constitutional laws . Not an evil foreign leader !!!

The Constitution protects property rights. Freedom of speech is not freedom to be heard. Hypocrisy is not illegal. What is so hard to understand?

An analogy is a comparison between two things, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification.

A hypothetical example is a fictional example that can be used when a speaker is explaining a complicated topic that makes the most sense when it is put into more realistic or relatable terms.

You don't even understand what everyone else gets , the freedom of religion , expression , speech is specifically worded in the first amendment , and I'm well aware of what analogy means !!! And freedom is the key word !!!

I don't understand what is so difficult to understand about the first amendment

The First Amendment guarantees freedoms concerning religion, expression, assembly, and the right to petition. It forbids Congress from both promoting one religion over others and also restricting an individual’s religious practices. It guarantees freedom of expression by prohibiting Congress from restricting the press or the rights of individuals to speak freely. It also guarantees the right of citizens to assemble peaceably and to petition their government.

Here is a hypothetical example.
I own a Christian Church. Okay,
I don't allow a Muslim cleric to speak to my congregation.

I'm limiting his ability to be heard, but not limiting his ability to speak. I own the space and have the right to control it.
