It’s a convenient narrative for the right to think that the hard progressive left is secretly running things behind the scenes, but they’re not. The Squad wouldn’t even use their speaker of the house vote to leverage a vote on Medicare For All, which is something they all ran on and is their main issue. They have very little political power right now, just media attention.
