Protect the nation from FB spam?

I'd take you seriously on this subject were it not for the fact that you, like most people of your political stripe, hope that there's something bad to uncover because it benefits your "side."
The FBI investigation was focused on Russian influence in our election. Trump freaking out about it and firing Comey resulting in the special counsel is all his own making. If there was nothing there, Trump would sit back and let the FBI investigate. He didn't because he has something to hide. Keep defending him, it makes you very credible.

At the heart of the matter is how much does he owe Russian state controlled banks and Russian oligarchs. The answer will in the end be found in his tax returns. From an intelligence and military perspective the question is how badly has US military and intelligence assets been hacked and compromised? To what extent has Russian and other adversary's hacking placed the lives of US operatives at risk? A global crisis requires a US military response . Say for example the US submarine fleet is ordered launch a response but thanks to hacking the president can't contact them. I can't understand why the deep thinking and gifted intellect Dano 59 has never considered this possibility especially when it has been openly discussed.

You do know that Trump's tax returns are already available to the government and always have been? If there was anything illegal it would've come out in the campaign as Obama's guys would've done whatever to insure Hillary's winning. Really amigo, you watch too many movies.

LOL, I'm being told over and over on this forum that Trump is the embodiment of evil while the Dems do no wrong. And yet nothing concrete has come out about Trump while every day there are new revelations that show the Obama administration and the Clinton campaign went way over the line. Whether they get prosecuted or not remains to be seen, but I like their chances much more than Trump's.

Perhaps the best post I have ever seen on the BC. A very succinct meditation on the current political climate. It baffles me how middle class folk feel so passionately in regards to one side over the other. It’s not like John and Jane Q have done very well since the early seventies, regardless of which party is in office. The fact that most believe there is a difference between the two major parties is probably the most notable achievement in the history of propaganda.

It's a well known fact that Mueller can't get them without a subpoena. Don't you remember he's being audited, or so he says? Rest assured this will be longest audit in the history of the Internal Revenue Service and will not conclude until he's out of office . Why is it that you Reps always pull the worst possible candidate out of your inventory to offer the American people.? If your party wants to truly "drain the swamp" and bring some principled ethics to Washington then it should drag Richard Painter kicking and screaming into the oval office.

Says the know it all who doesn't know anything. Take a side, take a stand, but don't keep going on about how you at such a tender age know everything and have it all figured out.

Unfortunately there was a neck and neck race to the bottom amongst nominees last year. And if the White House can direct the IRS to not grant tax exempt status to conservative PACS it can certainly see what's in Trump's returns. It's up to Trump whether he releases them publicly but he's under no legal requirement to do so. If anything he probably would be embarrassed that his income isn't nearly what he makes it out to be.

His tax returns are to Trump what the Watergate tapes were to Nixon. If Mueller can meet the burden of proof needed to get that subpoena good chance he will get it despite Trump's expected attempt to invoke executive privilege. Mike Flynn and Sally Yates might make getting that subpoena a bit easier. BTW it's not a question of being made public. It's a question of turning them over to Mueller. This is all a moot point if as was the case with Nixon. Trump starts feeling the heat and fires Mueller as part of a last ditch effort to get the law off his back. This is going to be good because the GOP may in the end have to decide if keeping Trump in the WH is worth running the risk of losing it's political majority for about the next 20 years.

Really? So you're of the opinion that Trump freely put damning evidence in his own tax returns? And no one has seen them even though he filed them with the IRS? Really?

Positive is not what I would call them and some on that list are outright lies.
