Can I withdraw ROTH 401K somehow?

uh-oh. I have been contributing into the roth 401k also. I was always told that a 401k, roth or traditional, can be rolled over to an IRA. Is this not true???

I don't think you can roll over a 401k into an IRA until after you quit working at a company. You could convert to a Roth then but the benefits would be minimal. Far better to start your own Roth in addition to your 401k when you are younger.

You do know that you need to have the tax money if you do a conversion. It can't come out of the 401k money.
