CHICAGO to MPLS/ST PAUL rail corridor

UPS has been okayed by union to run subcontractors thru the summer on this now virtually nonexsistent rail corridor.....100s of loads daily. WTF Does anyone have any solid info on this nightmare?

Probably part of the eventual plan to take CACH to West Coast to/from loads off rail onto UPS Feeder Drivers.
UPS is training UPSers to be Feeder Drivers as we type.

As far as the OP, I'm not surprised. We've had contractors on property still since peak. One reason we're given is that we are handling extra volume due to the North Bay Ca building refurbishment.
