Citizen’s Arrest gone wrong Georgia

It don't matter if they arrest the whole town. A good lawyer could get them off easily.
The more I learn in this, I don't think a murder charge will be upheld by a jury.

Perhaps the Georgia prosecutors will be smarter than the Florida prosecutors in the Zimmerman case ... wouldn't take much.

When a cop stops me: Car in park, all interior lights on, radio off, keys out and on the dash, seatbelt on, window down and both hands on the wheel. "Yes sir" and "No sir."

Works out pretty well.
Some peoples mental and/or emotional aptitude does not make that so likely.

I am around addicts a lot in NA ... Arbery appeared to have the same mental and/or emotional problems that many addicts have.

Manslaughter? Surely you don't think they will walk. Could also face a civil trial. Sure is an awful lot of grief on both sides over nothing.

Yes! I noticed the same thing that you noticed. Although I have never had substance abuse issues, I have had more than my fair share of interactions with those who do.

Every perpetually troubled person I have known have one thing in common. The best way I can describe it is that they are 'very resistant to certain kinds of information.'
As a society, we are dealing with the effects of mass closures of mental health facilities beginning in the 80's. It seems that everybody knows somebody who has substance abuse issues, or are otherwise very often not in their right mind.

Civil trial against the city is the entire point of this fiasco. Using their dead son as a payday to steal from the taxpayers.
I still don’t think it has a point.
I'm still not sure I can reconstruct in my mind what I thought the point was/is???

Anyway I've been thinking about your first sentence and I think it makes sense with decent probability.
I just think it has developed over the last couple of weeks.
Sure! The lawyers are definitely going to make some money ... they always do.

You two drive around in your truck with guns and stop this alleged thief and I'll film it. My weekends with my bros only result in hangovers.

Starts with mourning family looking for someone to blame.

Race baiting opportunists with an agenda like BLM and NAACP show up to stoke the fires. They enlist the help of the liberal media who wants to sell advertisements.

Family realizes they can get some money from taxpayers in a civil lawsuit and here we are.

And opportunistic politicians come along to hop aboard for the ride.

Think your interactions with police might be different than those of a young black man in the south?
