In our operations alone we lost two full time on roads, maybe a two tier manager and a division manager within the last month...They are leaving in droves...For what reason..Who knows...and just before peak? Something isn't right..
I would imagine most of the UPS management are secretly putting in resumes to other corporations that might have better benefits or working conditions. They leave with their previous MIP stock almost doubling, a lot of the old timers are getting to the point of bailing while the going is good..The under 40's see the writing on the wall with the new and improved glass ceiling and the elimination of their pension contributions come 2023, the demands of the job on their families, this stupid virus affect/turnover that is happening with their work groups and the constant pounding by their superiors to make impossible numbers are just a few of reasons for leaving...
Their replacements will be from the part time ranks because no full time driver in their right mind would want to get into that mess, so guess who will really be running the show with operations?
