Crybaby Republicans at it again

The loon bags on the right seem to have no problem getting their crazy ideas out there. If Nuuny doesn’t like twitter he should start his own competing service and let the market decide.
If they are doing things to harm others they should pay. Are you going to say if a little girl commits suicide because of online bullying it's her fault? Don't like it go start your own service?

Are you saying the powers that be have the right to ruin someone's life with no repercussions?
You mean like a government that snatches your kid from you and sends you to another country ?
So a spoiled fratboy wannabe has people say mean things about him.......on the internet ( he is the 1st person that has ever happened too_O) and he deserves a couple hundred million, or a sycophant politician has people say mean things and you are up in arms. But snatch your kid from you and you say "well you should have thought of that first"

I doubt his life is ruined. You probably can’t remember his name without googling it.

First off he's not a frat boy, which implies college age, adulthood. He's 16. Secondly he didn't do anything wrong and after the full video came out most of his detractors of note admitted so. Thirdly he's suing a newspaper and a cable news outlet that said defamatory things that could affect his future and probably will. As professional journalists they have higher standards they must maintain, and they didn't. Fourth, apples and oranges comparing him to people who knowingly break a law. They did, he didn't, and one has no bearing on the other. That's like saying you're going to sue a restaurant that gave you food poisoning, and someone saying so what, a cop shot a guy at a traffic stop. They aren't connected in any way, and because someone didn't receive justice doesn't mean you can't.

Very easy to remember his last, Sandmann. And what matters is the effect it had on his life in his community where people do know him and his family.
Good lord.

What? Was he emotionally raped on the steps of the capital?

Did the big bad mean mediamake him feel bad?

Time to start holding the MSM and Social Networks accountable to be impartial.
But Faux doesn't have to, amirite?

You really believe that kid wasn't mocking the elder Indian?

I'm surprised all those white kids from that private school in Kentucky weren't walking around D.C. with tiki torches.

If a major newspaper, et al, ever accuses you falsely of wrongdoing, is slanderous in their description of your actions, and it affects your professional and personal life, or is deemed likely to harm you and your family's future, I suspect you won't go "Aw shucks, you fellers really zinged me that time!" And you folks here went out of your way to slam that kid because he wore a MAGA hat. If he had worn a t-shirt with Obama's campaign symbol on it none of this would've ever happened.

You mean the elder Indian who went and got in Sandmann's face? The elder Indian who claimed Vietnam service when he was never in country? The elder Indian who's made a living out of protesting? The elder Indian who lied on video about what transpired that day? And those kids were riled up by a bunch of black activists who were calling them all kinds of racists names. Of course the knee jerk liberals response is to rush to the defense of non-whites on everything, especially if they're in proximity of little bigots wearing MAGA hats.

Hence the phrase "Fratboy wannabe".....words have meaning.

The people on the opinion shows are not professional journalists. They get paid to give their opinions on stories .
They get paid to give opinions about public figures, not private citizens. Big difference legally. And while there's freedom of speech you can't yell fire in a theater either. Not to mention what they said was legally slanderous.
