With the new language in the contract (article 11 sec.b) that states no driver will be forced to work on unscheduled days... Does that count the day after thanksgiving since technically (and always was till about 6yrs ago) a paid holiday and not a scheduled work day?

This may vary by local but I am fairly certain that BF is now a regular workday.

The currently scheduled days are Monday thru Friday, and Tuesday through Saturday. Black FRIDAY falls within both schedules, so no, you can probably still be force to work it, along with MLK day.

MLK Day, which was basically a PR move on the Company's part, is a bank holiday. Most of the stops on most of the routes will still be open.
