Day of Infamy

It sure took a long to release the autopsy about what caused the officer's death. Having a stroke and dying from natural causes didn't fit the narrative.
The narrative of an officer passing away quietly after a pleasant day of escorting visitors around the capitol?🤣

He certainly didn't die on J6 after being beaten to death.
Right. How would that have happened? It was just a normal day wit regular patriotic Americans on a pleasant tour of the nations Capitol. No violence at all. Not sure why anyone would think that!

Did I say there was no violence? The difference is in how y'all characterize it. An insurrection to overthrow a government isn't conducted gun free. Nor is it possible for a group that size, even armed to the teeth, to overthrow the government. Our military would clear them away in minutes. It's about hyping the situation for political gain. Playing on people's fears. Nothing more. Trump shouldn't have involved himself in any way with this gathering because it opened him up to all kinds of accusations. I for one am looking for a better alternative and I believe in 2024 that's Ron DeSantis. Can hardly wait to see the smears, theories of collusion, accusations of all manner of misdeeds y'all will come up with for him. It's what you Dems do to the point now of being caricatures of yourselves. Let the games begin!

Yeah. Ok. Maybe you should look up the word “insurrection” before you try to speak intelligently about it. Maybe listen to those involved who were certain the military had their backs.

I’m not saying there wasn’t a bunch of different layers of crazy going on, but they certainly thought they could do whatever they wanted inside and believed they had every right to be anywhere they wanted.

True, when the Capitol Police were opening doors for them I guess they felt like it was ok to be there. You should be more worried about a government that has held a bunch of these people for two years now without a trial. They have rights too and they're being trampled on.

Held in solitary for 2 years without being convicted of any crimes. Not to mention their reported abuse while awaiting a trial.

And the Dems are fine with that. How dare they question a Democratic won election! Especially after so much trouble was went to to rig the damn thing!

And did the Capitol police give them any indication that they had gone far enough and needed to stop? Was the door opened for Ashli Babbit or was she breaking through a barricaded area? Maybe you’re right. Maybe she just didn’t know she was restricted from that area especially if the officers allowed them in the building. Obviously that meant Speaker Pelosi’s office was open for business!

It is called jail.

Thankfully the republicans in the House will get to the bottom of all that if they can pull away from Huntermania long enough.

You of course were outraged at George Floyd's murder but don't seem to have an issue with a small, unarmed woman being summarily executed. And yes the policeman who killed her admitted he never saw a gun.

Seems to me one was attempting to comply and one was obviously doing the opposite.

But you knew that already.

But let’s make it simple. Did Babbit have a right to be climbing through the window at a barricaded door?

No. Did George Floyd have a right to be on drugs and pas counterfeit money and they’re not comply? No. Did either of them deserve to die. No. simple.
