Delivery driver advice

I’m posting on this thread to get advice from former or current ups delivery drivers on how the job will be when I first start. Also if you can give me some insight on how you guys were trained to learn how to navigate. I heard one way is to print out a map in the facility with all the pin points. If you guys have a picture of how that map looks can you post it on this thread please. Thank you

You guys had to look at a paper map to deliver pkgs ?
Wow , that must of been hard !
Did you bring the truck back when it got dark , or if you were tired ??
Did you get free socks ?

I always called off if it was raining.

And snow, forget about it.

I notice myself getting over whelmed too. I guess I’ve been waiting for two years at ups to be 21 and don’t want to fail. Thanks man
They set you up to fail before you even get out the door ..... take it one stop at a time and don’t run... good luck

1) because it's one of the rules on this forum;
2) management monitors this website;
3) it's to protect your anonymity.

If you don't know how to do it...here's how:

- hover the pointy thing over your name in the upper right corner toolbar;
- a menu will drop down;
- "username change" is in the lower right corner, third from the bottom of this drop down menu;
- click on it.

It's for your protection and very easy to do.
Think of a new, cute username.
