Does this happen in your center?

1. Sup tells certain driver friends to take an over during the week and for helping them out they can still come in on Saturday and get their 6th punch and pay?

2. Driver gets flipped to RCPD and bargains with center manager and Sups that he does Tuesday-Saturday despite having enough seniority to be Mon-Fri.

Here seniority prevails for a “6th punch”. If someone is a RPCD then Saturday is a sixth punch regardless of how many days they actually work Monday - Friday. That’s a slam dunk grievance for the most senior driver that actually files. It’s a full day of O/T at a minimum of 8 hours. I love filing those.

On a side note: Here your seniority doesn’t make you a RPCD. We have a few 22.4 that don’t bid onto RPCD jobs. They like some of the perks of being one of the the senior 22.4s. They aren’t at full rate so the pay rate isn’t that much of a difference to them.

Don’t worry he’s friendly
Some people do that. Happens. It is an easy grievance for more senior drivers but it’s also an easy grievance for any part time if the full time worker is working the p/t position and the extra work wasn’t offered to part time employee first.
