i've said it a few times we give presidents too much credit for deficits , though they deserve their share.
congress controls the purse strings and escapes most of the blame.

The market correction in 2008 gave everyone in government an open check book to "stimulate" the economy.

this current budget does the same thing with no cap until after the elections.
